Remediation samples
Real work on a real document, so you can judge the quality rather than take a claim on trust. Every file on this page was produced by the same pipeline we would run on your documents — and every one of them passes at 100/100.
Check them yourself. Download any file below and run it through the free checker, or through PAC, or Acrobat's own accessibility checker. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
A worked example
A 9-page school board minutes document, published publicly by a US school district. It was a scan — a picture of words with no text layer at all, which means it was completely invisible to a screen reader and unsearchable.
| Before | After | |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility score | 10 / 100 | 100 / 100 |
| Automated failures | 4 | 0 |
| Text layer | None — pure scan | Full, searchable |
| Structure tree | None | Headings, lists, paragraphs |
- Remediated board minutes (PDF, 9 pages) — the finished document
- Before / after summary (PDF) — what changed, and what still needs a person
- Rates and scope (PDF) — what we do, what we charge, what we do not claim
What we do not claim
Automated remediation does the mechanical majority of the work. It does not finish the job, and we would rather say so here than have you discover it later.
- Reading order needs a human. We infer it from page geometry and it is usually right. "Usually" is not good enough to ship unchecked to someone who depends on it, so a person confirms it before delivery.
- OCR misreads things. In the sample above, the original scan produced "0n Monday" with a zero, and an inconsistent document number. A screen reader reads those aloud as fact, so OCR output is proofread, never trusted.
- Alternative text has to mean something. Software can tell you alt text exists. It cannot tell you whether it usefully describes the chart.
- We are not a certification body. We do not issue conformance certifications and we do not offer a compliance guarantee, because nobody honest can.
Working with us
PDF and document remediation to WCAG 2.1 AA and PDF/UA. $6 per page for digital documents, $18 per page where scanned pages need OCR, 48-hour turnaround. Minimum engagement $150.
For agencies: fully behind the scenes, nothing carries our name. Market rates for complex scanned pages run $40–60, so there is real margin in reselling the work most teams would rather refuse.
We will remediate your first 10 pages free so you can judge the quality against your own standards. Email [email protected].
